Your Senior Scouts are in one of three categories. If your girls fall into one of the first two categories then I would continue on in this post where I will share a few ideas to help you and your girls enjoy earning the Senior Troupe Performer badge.

  1. They are eager to get on stage and put on the best performance of their life. And want to earn the badge to make themselves better!
  2. They are afraid of being on stage and want to earn the badge to help them get over that fear.
  3. They have no desire to ever earn this badge – if that is the case check out one of the other Senior Badge Ideas available here

Troupe Performer Activity Booklet

Before jumping into a few ideas, do you want to skip all the planning? If so, use the Troupe Performer Activity Booklet to fulfill the requirements for this Senior Badge. This booklet includes activities, games, and worksheets to allow your girls to takeover the meeting and learn more about being a movie critic, create their own puppet show and stage, plan the skit to be used for performance, create advertising and promotional pieces to invite others to show, additional games and activities just for fun to help girls with confidence to be on stage. The girls will learn about stage directions, rehearse their performance and of course have opening night/day with a cast party after. With a step by step activities, you can’t ask for a easier way to run your meeting. Learn more about this activity booklet and get yours today!

Put on Your Very Own Puppet Show

One way to get the girls into performing in front of people is to have the girls make their own puppets and put on a puppet show.

Not sure where to start planning a puppet show? Don’t worry you can get everything you need to put on your very own puppet show in the Senior Girl Troupe Performer Activity Booklet booklet.

The girls have the option to get really crafty and create their own stage for their puppet show, or if you want look on Amazon they have a variety of different puppet stages that are not to expensive and you can reuse over and over. Check out this one its one of my favorites: Deluxe Puppet Theater Fold-Able And Easy to Store

More Resources For My Leader Readers

I get asked a lot what other resources are out there on the internet for Leaders.  I have done some digging over the years and have used many of the resources myself. I compiled a list of some great companies that sell patches, programs and also other bloggers offering amazing resources that may fit your needs even better than my site did.   Checkout what I found.

My name is Jodi Carlson, I am a mom, wife, & web designer and come with 25 years of GS experience. I am now sharing my experiences and helping other Girl leaders be great and successful and shape today’s girls to be the leaders of tomorrow. I was blessed with a Son in March of 2015 and stepped down as a full time girl leader, but missed planning and volunteering, so I decided after 25 years I have so many ideas to inspire girls and help leaders so I choose to build this blog and it has grown into a resource beyond GS, I am reaching girl leaders in many organizations.
